Mentorship in the legal profession is beyond mere apprenticeship and must be differentiated from guidance and counselling. Its content and context transcend the walls of a classroom and accolades of success in any given profession. With the present challenges in career paths, the benefits of mentorship as central support pillar cannot be overlooked. Whereas the general principles of mentorship apply globally, each institution is encouraged to develop its own mentorship programme that fits specific and unique circumstances.

The mentorship program had a guest speaker guest Prof. Tom Ojienda, Moderators Mr. Desmond Tutu and Mr. Peter Pete
