The UoN Office of Career Services has partnered with Power Learn Project Africa (PLP) and Safaricom through their youth platform - Safaricom Hook has launched a new tech cohort, designed to equip 225 young Kenyans with essential digital skills. This fully funded program aims to bridge the digital skills gap in Kenya and empower the next generation of tech leaders.
This partnership is about creating pathways to success. Learners will gain:
- Expert mentorship from industry leaders, including insights from Safaricom’s extensive network.
- Career guidance and job placement opportunities, positioning them to be competitive in the tech sector.
- Support for aspiring entrepreneurs to turn their tech ideas into viable ventures.
The application deadline is 21st October 2024, and we are confident that the program’s offerings resonates well with our students ambitions of becoming Technopreneurs.
